Using Audio Tracks in SongShow Plus - Song - Slide Show - Program

Applicable SongShow Plus Versions:

Audio Tracks can be used in a variety of ways in SongShow Plus. They can be used as an object in a Program, they can be associated with a specific song file and they can be used in Slide Shows - either for an individual slide or the entire slide show.  Any supported Audio file can be used in this manner.  Please refer to the Audio file type article for additional information.

Adding an Audio Track to a Program:

1. Launch SongShow Plus
2. From the Media Files panel, select the Audio Tracks tab.
3. Locate the audio file you want to add the Program.
4. Click the ADD icon next to the file name to add it to the Program.

Once the Audio Track had been added, users can adjust the properties and playback settings by right-clicking on the Audio Track and selecting from the menu.

Adding an Audio Track to a Song:

1. Launch SongShow Plus
2. From the Media Files panel, select the Songs tab.
3. Locate the song you want to add the Audio Track to. (FYI - This will not work with any Stock song content.  If needed, first make a copy of the stock song for editing)
4. Select and right-click the song file, then select Edit Song.
5. From the Song Properties dialog, select the Audio Files tab.
6. Once selected, click the Add... button and locate, select and click Open to set the track.
7. Click Save and Close to finish the editing.

Once this is complete you can add the song to a program.  From there, right click the song and select the Audio Track settings to determine if it plays or loops and the volume level.

Adding an Audio Track to an entire Slide Show:

1. Launch Slide Builder.
2. Open or create a slide show.
3. From the Slide Show edit panel, select the Slide Show Tools tab.
4. Locate the Audio Track control and click it.
5. From this panel select the audio track to use and the settings for it.
6. Click Save to save the settings and close the dialog.

Adding an Audio Track to a specific slide in a Slide Show:

1. Launch Slide Builder.
2. Open or create a slide show.
3. From the Slide list panel, select the slide that will have the Audio Track.
4. From the Slide Show edit panel, select the Slide Tools tab.
5. Locate the Audio Track control and click it.
6. From this panel select the audio track to use and the settings for it.
7. Click Save to save the settings and close the dialog.
