Where do I find self-help resources and training for SongShow Plus?

Self-help resources and training for SongShow Plus are crucial pieces of the puzzle for maximizing utilization of SongShow Plus while minimizing the frustrations of learning how to use SongShow Plus as well as the inevitable issue where things don't go exactly as planned. These tools are just as useful to the seasoned pro as they are to the beginner volunteer. Use the following resources to "Teach yourself to fish..."

The SongShow Plus User Guide has extensive information about the workings of SongShow Plus.  This resource can be found here on the SongShow Plus site or within the SongShow Plus local installation from the main toolbar. Launch SongShow Plus and select Help > User Guide. You can search or just browse through the User Guide to answer many questions about SongShow Plus.

The SongShow Plus Knowledge Base has an extensive list of articles covering all manner of questions and possible issue resolutions. There are articles that cover specific features in SongShow Plus, How-To articles and information regarding error messages that might be encountered.  This resource can be found here on the SongShow Plus site.
When searching for information, for best results enter a general term regarding the desired article or a word or two from a message/error you may be seeing.  You can also use the F3 key search option in your browser to find alternate spellings that may not show up in the regular search. You can also scroll through the sections to see if any of the titles appear related to your query.

The SongShow Plus Forums are available for User-to-User discussions regarding ways to use SongShow Plus and discuss how they resolved similar challenges.  This resource can be found here on the SongShow Plus site.  There are several articles in the Knowledge Base that explain how to get access to and set up notifications about topics on the Forums that interest you.

Depending on your current subscription level, you can go to their website training page and log in with the same Customer ID and password that you use to log in to the SongShow Plus site or activate SongShow Plus. Once there you can go to the Live Training page and purchase a training session. This is a great training tool for both experienced operators and new volunteers alike. 

Purchase Live Training

• Go to www.gofishmedia.net 
• Click on Login in the upper right corner of the screen.
• Enter your credentials (Same as the SSP website and activation credentials).
• Click Log In.
• Once you have successfully logged in, hover your mouse over Training and click Live Training.
• You can either purchase a session or email the sales team first to get more details.

SongShow Plus Training Videos are available from GoFishMedia. Depending on your current subscription level, you can go to their website training page and log in with the same Customer ID and password that you use to log in to the SongShow Plus site or activate SongShow Plus. Current Bronze and higher subscriptions will have access to, at minimum, an array of activation and new computer transfer videos. Higher levels have access to additional video introductions to features and settings as well as more in-depth explorations of the Presenter control and the Slide Builder. These are a great training tool for new volunteers.

Access Training Videos

• Go to www.gofishmedia.net 
• Click on Login in the upper right corner of the screen.
• Enter your credentials (Same as the SSP website and activation credentials).
• Click Log In.
• Once you have successfully logged in, hover your mouse over Training and click Watch Videos.

Which videos are available to me?
On the upper left side of the training page, it will show your current subscription. You will also notice there are various categories that the videos are organized into. A checkmark next to the category name indicates you have access to those videos. If you do not see a checkmark, that means you need a higher subscription to access those videos.
