Audio file support in V7

Audio file support in SSP has been a long time in coming. It’s now here with SSP V7! With V7, you can play audio files essentially the same way you play video files. You can use files that you have previously ripped and copied to the SSP audio database folder. This is handy for a number of situations. If you find yourself in the need to play an audio track for special music, like a soloist, now rather than hoping that a tape or CD is properly cued, you can play the audio file directly from SSP. You get the same convenience that you have when playing video clips from SSP. This is even more useful in a situation where you have multiple audio clips that need to be played such as in a musical or wedding. I used this feature myself in my own church for a Christmas program.

I should clarify that the new audio support is not the complete solution that some have been waiting for.  Underscoring for slide shows is not yet implemented (I will discuss more on this later), nor is playing an audio file while also presenting song slides. These things will be part of the V7 evolution, but the support as it is now in V7 is a good step in the right direction.- IMHO.
