Setting an Audio Level for a Program Item

Video and audio program items can have their audio level set specifically for each item. This let's each item have it's own independent audio level. PowerPoint and web page programs rely on the master audio control and are not independent, which is to say that they effect the audio level of all audio within SongShow Plus. Because of this, you may need to reset the audio level in the following program item.

 

To set the audio level for an audio or video program item:

1.Withing the Program Panel, select the program item you wish to set.
2.Select the menu command Program > Playback Settings > Audio Level. This will open the Playback Settings window.
3.The audio controls are at the lower right area of the window. Use these controls to adjust the audio level or to mute audio.
4.Click Save to save the changes.

 

 

To set the audio level for a PowerPoint presentation or web page media item:

1.Withing the Program Panel, select the program item you wish to set.
2.Select the menu command Program > System Audio Level. This will open the System Audio Level window.
3.Click Specify to indicate that you want to set the audio level for this program item.
4.Use the track bar to set the audio level, or click Mute to mute the audio.
5.Click Save to save the settings.
