Working on the next evolution
This last week, I have been working on the changes that will be part of the next SSP evolution. These include the capability to add and edit songs “non-modally.” This means that you can, while editing a song, also click back to the control window to run a presentation, then click back to the song edit window. You can also have multiple song-edit windows open at one time now if you wish.
Another change is that when importing songs from CCLI, you can now import more than one song at a time without having to re-open the browser window for each song. This also goes for adding songs using the clipboard capture utility.
Then finally, after adding a song, SSP will now prompt you with a choice to display, edit, or add the song to the current program, which eliminates the need to go find a song that you just added.
If all goes well, a beta version with these changes will be made available by the end of next week.
