These settings specify where the Output Windows will be placed.

 

 

Name

Optional field letting you specify a name for the output window.

 

Placement

Presenter Window (embedded)

The window will be embedded within the Presenter Window. This is useful when using SongShow Plus on a single-display machine used for building presentations.

Display Device

The window will be placed within an actual display device. This is the setting used for a presentation machine.

 

Display Device

Specifies which display device the window should be placed in. This setting is only used if the Placement setting is set to Display Device.

 

Placement Area

Specifies where the window will be placed within a display device. The window can be set to use the entire area of the device, or just portions of it. This setting is only used if the Placement setting is set to Display Device.

 

Specified Area

Specifies the specific area, as percentages, within a display device where the window will be placed This setting is only used if the Placement setting is set to Display Device and Placement Area is set to Specified.

 

Outer Adjustment

Let's you make pixel level adjustments to the location and size of the window. This is useful if the window is bleeding over to an adjacent display area. This setting is only used if the Placement setting is set to Display Device.

 

Inner Adjustment

Let's you make pixel level adjustments to the canvas size of the window. This is useful if the projector is overshooting the screen. With it, you can move or reduce the area that media is drawn to, leaving the outer area black. This setting is only used if the Placement setting is set to Display Device.

 

Show in Monitor Panel

Specifies whether a copy of the output window will be shown in the Presenter Window's Monitor Panel.

 

Embedded Aspect Ratio

When Placement is set to Presenter Window, this setting lets you specify which aspect ratio to use for the emulated device.

 

Use GPU

This setting specifies whether or not the GPU will be used to render slides. There is little reason to disable this setting and should only be disabled if directed to do so by technical support. Some features of SongShow Plus are not supported if the GPU is not used.

 

Transparent Base

This setting is used specifically for systems with DeckLink video cards for text-over-live video support. There is no other reason to enable the transparent base.

 

Minimize Window

This setting specifies what to do when the Presenter Window (the main window for SongShow Plus) is minimized. By default, all child windows, including display windows, will also be minimized. By specifying no, the display windows will remain visible even when the main SongShow Plus window is minimized.

 

NDI Enabled

Specifies whether the output for this display will also be broadcast to an NDI Channel.
