These settings configure the use of a DeckLink output video card.

 

Note that these settings are only in effect if your system has a supported DeckLink card installed.

 

Enabled

Specifies whether output is sent to the DeckLink card or not.

 

Source Window

Specifies which output window will be used to send a signal to the DeckLink card.

 

Resolution Mode

Specifies specifies the resolution and frame rate to use. This value should bet supported by and match your display input device.

 

Key Mode

Off

No keying is used.

External

The DeckLink will send out two signals, one is the main image and the second is an alpha-channel key image that can be merged by a supported video switcher.

Internal

The DeckLink receives a video signal and then overlays the image onto the video signal using image sources alpha-channel data. The merged video signal is then sent to an output channel from the card.

 

Key Opacity

Specifies an adjustment to the alpha channel values. The recommended setting is 100.
