Improv Collection

The Improv Collection provides ways for you to play videos, audio tracks, and show text independent of the usual presentation mechanism within SongShow Plus. It includes the following features:

Audio Improv

Let's you play audio files independently of the presented media item.

Background Improv

Let's you change background videos and images on-the-fly for songs and other slide shows. This feature can be used in conjunction with a secondary Display Window for environmental projection.

Color Improv

Let's you alter the color of background videos and images on-the-fly for songs and other slide shows. This feature can be used in lighting systems to coordinate the overall FOH color tone.

Overlay Improv

Let's you play videos that overlay the current slide in a Display Window. This is useful for playing things like count-down timers or animated screen bugs. (Note: Overlay Improv does not overlay video onto external players used for media types like PowerPoint, web pages, and DVD playback.)

Instant Message

This feature let's you post text messages onto the Display Window. This can be used for nursery call numbers, or to send a message to the team on the platform through a stage display. (Note: Instant Message does not overlay video onto external players used for media types like PowerPoint, web pages, and DVD playback.)
