Let's you alter the color of background videos and images on-the-fly for songs and other slide shows. This feature can be used in lighting systems to coordinate the overall FOH color tone. This feature works in conjunction with the Background layers for slide properties, and can also be used as a fill for foreground. It is set as an effect to a background or fill.
Color Improv for Songs
To use Color Improv for songs from within the SongShow Plus Presenter Window:
| 1. | Select the menu command Slide Properties > Songs. This will open the Default Slide Properties window with the Songs media type selected. |
| 2. | Ensure the Background check box item is checked. This will make the Background properties panel visible. |
| 3. | Select a background video or image to use for songs. |
| 4. | Select the Background Effects tab. |
| 5. | Click Add Effects. This will open a menu of effects options. |
| 6. | Select Color Improv. This will add Color Improv to the effects list. |
| 7. | Click OK. This will save and close the window. |
| 8. | Present a song. The background should look normal at this point. |
| 9. | Ensure the Improv Collection Panel is visible by selecting the menu command View > Improv Collection Panel. |
| 10. | Ensure the Color Improv panel is selected by clicking the Background Improv tab within the Improv Collection Panel. |
| 11. | Within the Color Improv panel, you will see buttons of colors. Click a color. By doing this, you should notice a change in the overall color of the background. |
