Feature Preview: SongShow Drive

With SongShow Plus 8.4, we are releasing another cloud-based service: SongShow Drive. SongShow Drive lets you share media files between machines providing capabilities to both upload media files from one SongShow Plus machine then download them to another SongShow Plus machine.

While similar to other services like Dropbox, Google Drive, and One Drive, SongShow Drive is more integrated with the SongShow Plus user interface and doesn't require you to set up or share a separate account. Additionally, SongShow Drive provides the capability to resume upload and downloads if they get interrupted during the process. SongShow Drive also supports metadata. These features not available through the other cloud services.

With SongShow Drive, you can share image, video, slide show, song, and program files. To upload image, video, slide show and song files, simply right-click on a file in the media panel that you want to send, select Send and follow the instructions. To download one of these files from your SongShow Drive account, use the the SongShow Drive importer. Programs are shared using the Package-to-Go feature.

SongShow Drive is useful for SongShow Plus users who would like to share files but are not using the SongShow Sync service.

SongShow Drive is available as part of the SongShow Plus Upgrade Service with and can be upgraded for more storage and bandwidth as necessary.
