Catastrophic Error or Access Violation occurs after selecting the "date only" option for the Program Name Template

Symptom:
Catastrophic Error when restarting SSP after selecting the "date only" ( Program - {date format "yyyy-mm-dd" ) option for the Program Name Template. It is possible that other errors may occur as well such as Access Violation or Expecting object to be local. SSP will no longer open successfully. (1731)

Possible Cause:
Root cause is unknown and is under investigation. 

Possible Solution:
Use another available option.  Since this is only a template, the program name can still be modified before saving.

If already in a failed state, support intervention will be required.
