This article applies to all versions of SongShow Plus

Symptom:
When attempting to display and/or advance a song, the operation may initially complete but then SSP will stop responding or freeze. While the song may appear to advance in the Media control the output appears to be frozen.  SSP Presenter may later hang or become unresponsive.

Possible Cause:
This may be related to the use of Intel Integrated Graphics. 

NOTE: Many Intel integrated and discrete graphics solutions and drivers have eliminated DirectX9 support and will not function as expected.  
NOTE: It is NOT recommended to use any integrated graphics solutions with SongShow Plus. 

Possible Solution:
There may be viable, short-term workarounds for this. Refer to article DI15 for more details.  

Preferred Solution:
Discontinue use of the integrated graphics.  Add or replace with an add-in graphics solution from NVIDIA or AMD
