Mobile Control (PWA) - Unable to configure the settings in SSP - expected settings not displayed

This article applies to SongShow Plus 9.2 and Later using SongShow Mobile Control (PWA).

NOTE: SongShow Mobile Control (PWA) is now included as part of the Silver Subscription. You must maintain a Silver Subscription or higher to be able to access the Mobile Control (PWA) feature.
Symptom:
When trying to set up a SongShow Plus machine for using PWA Mobile Control, the expected controls are not shown. Message "This feature requires a projection machine and a current SongShow Plus Silver Level Subscription." is shown.
Possible Cause:
Setup is being attempted from a Workstation machine rather that the Projection machine that is to be controlled. setup must be done on the Projection machine you want to control.
Possible Solution:
Ensure that you are on the actual Projection machine that you want to enable the PWA Mobile Control for.
Possible Cause:
Setup is being attempted on an account that does not have a current SongShow Plus Silver Level Subscription.
Possible Solution:
Check the account status. If the subscription is not Silver or higher, upgrade from the Store tab on this site.
Possible Cause:
If the two items above have been confirmed it is possible that the Silver status was not updated (or has changed) since the last machine activation.
Possible Solution:
Force a license update on the target Projection machine.
- Deactivate the current Projection license.
- Restart SongShow Plus
- Re-activate using the same Projection license.
- This should update the license on the machine and allow access to Mobile Control.
