Media Panel tabs are missing or hidden - view menu

Applicable SongShow Plus Versions:

Symptom:
When trying to locate and select a specific media tab in the Presenter Media Files panel, the desired tab is not present.

Possible Cause:
This can be caused by the desired tab being hidden from view.  This can occur either deliberately or inadvertently using the tab selection options. 

Preferred Solution:
From the main toolbar:

1. Open SSP.
2. From the main toolbar select View > Media Files Panel For > then select the desired tab (media type) that you want to see.
3. Once selected, the tab will reappear in the Media Files panel.

From the Media Files panel:

1. Open SSP.
2. Locate the Media Files panel.
3. Right-click on any of the tabs showing there to open the selection menu.
4. Select the desired tab (media type) that you want to see (probably does not have a check mark next to it).
5. Once selected, the tab will reappear in the Media Files panel and will be selected to show up when the Media Files panel is viewed.

Possible Cause:
This can be caused by the desired tab being obscured from view.  This can occur either deliberately or inadvertently when resizing the Media Files panel. 

Preferred Solution:
From the main toolbar:

1. Open SSP.
2. From the main toolbar select View > Media Files Panel For > then select the desired tab (media type) that you want to see.
3. Once selected, the tab will be shown in the Media Files panel. 

From the Media Files panel:

1. Open SSP.
2. Locate the Media Files panel. In this instance it may be horizontally smaller than expected due to resizing or limited display space.
3. Locate the Left-Right arrows at the right end of the tabs bar.
4. Click these buttons to locate the desired tab (media type) that you want to see.
5. Once selected, the tab contents will be shown.
6. If desired and room is available, resizing the Media Files panel to a larger horizontal width will show more tabs at one time.

Possible Cause:
This can be caused by the edition or version of SSP that you have. The Basic Edition does NOT include the DVD or Video Devices tabs in the Media Files panel.

Preferred Solution:
If the DVD or Video Devices tabs are needed in the Media Files panel, please upgrade to the Ultra edition.
