Catastrophic failure error occurs when opening SongShow Plus - non US locations

Applicable SongShow Plus Versions:

Symptom:
When trying to launch SongShow Plus, a Catastrophic failure error occurs. User may or may not be able to clear the error, but SSP will still not fully launch to the Presenter Control. (xxxx)

Possible Cause:
This appears to be caused by having the time/date/region settings set to something other than the expected default US English settings.  For additional details refer to article FAQ30.

Possible Solution:
At this time there is no localization setting available for SongShow Plus.  This can be resolved by changing settings to match the expected US defaults.  For additional details refer to article FAQ30.
It is possible that if this was a temporary change the Settings/State were corrupted.  Please advise support if region settings were changed from US, then changed back to US and the error still occurs.
