Activation Error - unable to get current machine license - Machine key mismatch

Symptom:
When launching SongShow Plus there is an error message that indicates SSP was unable to get current machine license - Machine key mismatch. 

Possible Cause:
Something caused the associated machine key to change. It is possible that there was a Windows update that triggered the change or someone may have inadvertently tried to reuse the license on a different machine. If licenses are repeatedly swapped back and forth between the same machines (prior activations for the same version) this may also cause a mismatch.

In any of these cases, this can leave the license activation in a bad state.

Possible Solution:
A server-side solution may be possible, however, in the meantime, contact the support team to resolve the conflict.
