Bible version labels are showing up twice when displaying scriptures
Applicable SongShow Plus Versions:
This article applies to SongShow Plus 9.2 and Later
* Updates correcting this issue may be available. Ensure that you are using the most current build of SongShow Plus from the Download page before proceeding. *
NOTE: This bug was corrected in the SongShow Plus version 9.3.
Symptom:
When displaying scriptures in SongShow Plus, by default the Bible version label is being shown twice. (874)
Possible Cause:
It appears that during the last update there was a bug introduced that shows the Bible translation version abbreviations twice when displaying scriptures. This was not intentional and will be corrected in a future update.
Possible Solution:
There are a couple of workarounds that will eliminate the double abbreviated references:
- For one abbreviation and the full translation name:
- Use the global Slide Properties (Main tool bar > Slide Properties) and locate the Scripture Text Layout > Build Options .
- Uncheck the Show only abbreviation checkbox.
- Click Apply. then OK.
- For a single abbreviated translation version:
- Use the global Slide Properties (Main tool bar > Slide Properties) and locate the Scripture Text Layout > Build Options.
- Uncheck the Include Bible version checkbox.
- Click Apply. then OK.
At this time there is not a workaround available to eliminate both abbreviated labels. The intent is to restore the original function so these workarounds should be temporary.
