Alert - Unable to use object effect - component requires DirectX

Applicable SongShow Plus Versions:

Symptom:
When using SongShow Plus an Alert or error message may indicate: Alert - Unable to use object effect...  component requires DirectX...  These messages will most likely be accompanied by a specific function, feature or effect that is not working. 

Possible Cause:
This indicates that the noted specific function, feature or effect that is not working requires DirectX 9.0c.  Usually DirectX 9.0c is already installed by default but on some rare occasions it may not be applied. It is more likely that the High End Graphics/Use GPU settings in SongShow Plus are causing the issue.

Possible Solution:
Check the Display Settings and ensure that the Use GPU setting is set to Yes.
