No Signage service found or 401 error in configuration tools

This article applies to all versions of SongShow Plus and Signage

Symptom:
When attempting to manage Signage, the user receives an error message when accessing either the Signage publishing or configuration dialog.

  • "There was no signage service found for this account."  This can mean that this account has never had signage service, or that its current signage service is expired.
  • A "Not Authorized (401)" error when trying to log in.

Possible Cause:
When either of these messages appears, the most likely cause is the Signage subscription has expired. 

Possible Solution:
Contact the Support Team to renew the Signage subscription.
