Signage - Some videos do not play in published slideshow content

Applicable SongShow Plus Versions:  
This article applies to all versions of SongShow Plus and Signage

Symptom:
After publishing a slideshow to a player (DSD), some videos in the content published to Signage do not play as expected but it does play on the SongShow Plus system.

Possible Cause:
If the SongShow Signage Player is running Windows 8, it requires the H.264 license to be applied to play H.264 content. This typically includes MP4; MOV and similar types.
Windows 10 supports this natively.

Possible Solution:
Verify that the player has the H.264 license applied.  If this was purchased and it is applied, the videos should play.
