Video with audio track play back error - crash or error message - Access violation or Assertion failure.

This article applies to SongShow Plus version 9.0 and later.

Symptom:
Videos with audio tracks will cause SongShow Plus to crash or freeze when played. It is possible that an error will be presented instead.  If playing a video causes specific error codes or messages, search for them for more detailed information.

Possible Cause:
Problem with system audio solution - either not present or not enabled and connected. 

Possible Solution:
Verify that the system used has an audio solution enabled and connected to an output.  Verify that a sound sample can be played and heard from the system running SongShow Plus.
