SongShow Drive - Files sent using the Send To operation are not uploaded when operation is complete

2/7/2023

Applicable SongShow Plus Versions:
This article applies to all versions of SongShow Plus 8.4 and later.

* Updates correcting this issue may be available. Ensure that you are using the most current build of SongShow Plus from the Download page before proceeding. *

Symptom:
When executing a Send To operation with SongShow Drive as the destination, the operation indicates it completed successfully but the content was not copied to the SongShow Drive repository.  This operation is part of the SongShow Drive integration in SongShow Plus media management.

Possible Cause:
This is caused by insufficient space available in the target repository.  In many cases, users have tested the SongShow Drive functionality with the free "Shared" repository (only 50MB of space) and then later purchased a subscription for a larger "Corporate" repository.  Both repositories will still be visible and users may select the Shared repository.  This function should, but currently does not, warn user of insufficient space available. This will be corrected in a later release.

Possible Solution:
Assuming the lack of space is the issue, simply selecting the larger repository and re-running the Send To operation will resolve the issue.  Users can view space available through their Account page on the website and manage space via the SongShow Drive App in SongShow Plus -- From the main tool bar: Tools > SongShow Drive.

If this does not resolve the issue, contact the Support Team.
