SongSelect Online - Error trying to import song content

Applicable SongShow Plus Versions: 
This article applies to all versions of SongShow Plus using SongSelect Online.

Symptom:
When searching for content in SongSelect Online the following error is received -"Error connecting with SSL. EOF was observed that violates protocol"

Probable Cause:
A change made by the 3rd party vendor SongSelect related to the version of SSL used caused the SongShow Plus SongSelect Online component to stop working as expected.

Preferred Solution: 
Update SongShow Plus to version 8.4 dated 06/04/2018 or later.  Users must have a current subscription to use the SongShow Plus Online Services.

Possible Solution: 
Download song files directly from the SongSelect website and import into SongShow Plus using the SongSelect download file importer.
