SongSelect Online - Received server error or Bad Request error during import - Import failed
Applicable SongShow Plus Versions:
This article applies to all versions of SongShow Plus 8.5 and later using SongSelect Online

Symptom:
When attempting to search for or download songs from SongSelect Online within SongShow Plus the user receives an error indicating "Bad Request" or "HTTP.1.1 500 Internal Server Error".
Possible Cause:
SongSelect (CCLI) changed the API that is available for SongShow Plus in June 2023. This broke the SongSelect Online song import for all SongShow Plus versions 9.2 and older.
Possible Solution:
Update SongShow Plus to Version 9.3 or later.
Possible Solution:
Use the SongSelect Download file import tool in SongShow Plus Versions 9.2 or earlier.
Possible Cause:
In SongShow Plus the user will use the Online Services feature of SongSelect Online to import song text and an account with SongSelect is required and it must be set up in SongShow Plus. This error may indicating that the account that was used or created to download content from SongSelect has changed, expired or become corrupt. This may also occur if the access has not changed, but has not been used for some time.
Possible Solution:
Either Re-authorize or Remove and recreate the account entry used to access the SongSelect Online content.
This can be done by entering the Select Account option for the SongSelect Online import. Once in the Select Account screen you can right-click on an existing account and select either re-authorize if something with the account has changed or select Remove to delete the existing account and set up a new one.
