Transition delay when moving to/from a song in a program.
8/19/2013
Symptom:
A delay in the transition into a song or to a following object when songs have had the font modified via the Spacing adjustments in the Display Properties.
Possible Cause:
The cause is too much overhead in the font processing. It appears that this is affected by several factors – number of lines per slide; number of song parts; selection of automatic shrink/grow/consistent options. Each of these also affects the font size and can require different amounts of overhead to process on the fly. This is actually expected though rarely occurs.
Possible Solution:
Changing the font to one that does not require adjustment for optimal viewing.
Possible Solution:
Changing one of several options in the Display Properties can resolve this issue. The consistent font option seems to have the most impact.
