Some new effects appear differently depending on the order of application.

Some new effects may appear differently when applied to an object depending on the order of application or the setting selected in the Display Properties. All effects are rendered in the order that they are listed, making it possible to create a nearly infinite number of different looks to any given object.
Listed below are the known differences and/or issues with effects application.
- The Beveled Frame effect will not work if it is applied after the Rotate effect. The Beveled Frame is designed to be applied to a rectangular object and the target is no longer rectangular once rotated. The Beveled Frame effect will remain applied if it is added BEFORE the Rotate effect.
- Advanced Shadows may appear differently when applied before or after other effects. This is not an issue, per se, simply a different look with the application of the effect.
- The following effects behave differently when applied to a video and the "Place within the margins only" check mark is applied.
- Hinge
- Image Mask
- Transparency
- Gradient Mask
- Rotate
