Scripture Build options - show or hide version, verse numbers or reference.

Applicable SongShow Plus Versions: 
This article applies to all SongShow Plus versions.

A useful feature in SongShow Plus are Slide Properties. In this particular case, they can be used to determine what references are applied when displaying Scripture.

When configured, the Scripture Build options will dictate if and how the bible translation version will be shown as well as associated verse numbers as well as if any reference at all is shown.

The setting for the Scripture Build options in SongShow Plus can be found from the main toolbar:

  • Open SSP.
  • Select Slide Properties > All Media > Scripture Text Layout.
  • Select the Reference tab.
  • Locate the "Visible" option at the top and check or un-check it as needed.
  • Click Apply and OK to close.
• How do I control how the small verse number (on the verse itself) appears on scripture slides?
  • Open SSP
  • Select Slide Properties > All Media > Scripture Text Layout.
  • Select the Build options tab.
  • Locate the "Include verse numbers" option and check or un-check it as needed.
  • Click Apply and OK to close.

  • Open SSP.
  • Select Slide Properties > All Media > Scripture Text Layout.
  • Select the Build options tab.
  • Locate the "Include verse numbers" option and check or un-check it as needed.
  • Click Apply and OK to close.

Keep in mind that there are several layers of Slide Properties so you may need to verify the settings are not overridden elsewhere in the settings. Refer to this article for additional details on Slide Properties.
