CPU Hyper-threading Compatibility

Applicable SongShow Plus Versions:
This article applies to all versions of SongShow Plus.
The CPU technology called hyper-threading allows multiple processing threads on a single physical CPU core.
SongShow Plus version 5.5 and older versions are not compatible with hyper-threading. In these versions, hyper-threading may cause lock-ups, missing text, text not being displayed, videos crashing etc.
Starting with version 7, SongShow Plus is compatible with hyper-threading.
