How do I download older builds of SongShow Plus?

This article applies to all versions of SongShow Plus.

The SongShow Plus installation files for Version 8.4 and later are available for download on the website with your account sign in. This lets you, when necessary, obtain the latest version of SongShow Plus available to you based on your most recent subscription. It also lets you roll back to a previous version of SongShow Plus if you discover a problem with a newer version. 

If you need an installation file for versions older than 8.4, contact the support team to discuss options.  Bear in mind that these were designed for older obsolete operating systems and may be unpredictable on newer operating systems.  We highly recommend that you ensure your subscription is current and update to the latest build for the best experience with SongShow Plus.

NOTE: be aware that versions older that 9.x have not been tested on the current Operating System so the behavior may be unpredictable.  We can provide the installer and activation files but beyond that we would not be able to assist with installation or functional issues. 

Before downloading, you will need to take note of your SongShow Plus customer ID, and the zip code of your organization. For more information, read How to get your Customer ID.

To download any available build of SongShow Plus:

  1. Go to https://www.songshowplus.com.
  2. Click Sign in. This will take you to the SongShow Plus sign in page.
  3. Enter your Customer ID and Password (Zip/Postal Code), then click Sign In.
  4. Select the Download tab on the left.
  5. Assuming the log in was successful, you will be presented with a list of all SongShow Plus installations (and other files) available to you. Locate the file you wish to download, then click the file name link.
  6. Once downloaded, you can run the installer and follow the instructions.
  7. You will most likely need to complete an activation as well.  If you are on a version 8.5 or older, you will need to contact support for an offline activation.

There may be other interim builds available but not listed.  If you cannot find the build you are looking for or have trouble logging in, please contact the support team.
