How do I know if there is new content on the SongShow Plus website?

This article applies to the SongShow Plus website  

There are two ways to determine if there is new content in the News or Forums.

1. There is a Notifications mechanism that users can enable to get an email when anything they are "following" is updated. Once set, there is an icon that indicates notifications are on for that particular Forum, Topic or Message.
2. There is a "Unread" iconthat is present when new or updated content is posted to a Forum or Topic since the last time that a user that is signed in has visited that location.  There is also a "New Messages" section in each Topic that groups all new messages posted since the last time that a user that is signed in has visited that Topic.   This "unread" mechanism will provide more meaningful feedback over time as users navigate the Forums and Topics that are of interest to them.
