Unlike using traditional key techniques like chroma key and luma key, this technology provides genuine alpha-blending that results in superior font smoothing, impressive soft-blurred shadows, and crisp blacks.

The text-over-live video solutions previously provided by both SongShow Plus and other products are insufficient because of a lag in the video stream associated with the video-capture hardware. This caused the live video stream to be out of sync with the live audio in a service. The DeckLink cards along with SongShow Plus solve this problem!
