The Interactive Wish List!
The beta version of the Interactive Wish List has just been made available. I’ve mentioned this new service a number of times over the last several months so I’m excited to finally have it on-line. “Why is this important?” you might ask. Well, we’ve been taking suggestions for SSP features for years now, and these have often influenced us. However, we’ve also had difficulty at times sorting out which suggestions would really be universally beneficial. Often the more recent suggestions get more attention. Or the ones that deal with a feature of a competing product. Others are ones that would be “fun” to implement; therefore, we’re tempted to just do them.
However, with the Interactive Wish List, you as a user will now be able to see many of the suggestions that have been submitted to us. You’ll probably see other ideas and think to yourself, “Yeah, that’s a great idea – do that!” Well, because you will now be able to vote on the other ideas that have been submitted, we will be able to better know what is really important to our users.
And this is even more important now with the new evolutionary model that we will be using with SSP V7. As I’ve said before, the V7 release will be just the beginning of the evolution (the evolution actually began with the first Early Look beta release). New features will be added on a regular basis, with the wish list results having a significant factor in enhancement decisions.
The wish list is in test mode now. Take a look at it. Let us know what you think. To see it, click here.
