Feature Review: Replicate Effect

9/30/2014  < Previous  Next >
Another little new feature that was added to SongShow Plus 8.1 is the Replicate Effect. It is fairly straight forward -- it replicates the object, placing the replicated image adjacent to the original object based on user settings. You can determine which directions to replicate (left, right, up, down), and how many times. You can also set it to mirror the image in alternating columns.

This effect was originally developed to be used with the auto-triple-wide feature. That option is now actually part of the image and video fill settings for convenience, but the Replicate Effect was left in place in case someone finds it useful. It can be used to create a few interesting effects and textures.

The Replicate Effect feature is part of the Video Effects Collection.
