Feature Review: Reflection Effect
With the December 2009 Edition, we introduced the new Reflection Effect in the Cinematic Effects Collection. This feature makes it easy to apply a web 2.0-like reflection effect to images, videos, and text.
Here is an example of a theme slide for a new sermon series. It looks okay as it is:
But with the new Reflection effect, the slide gets a significant bump in its artistic level.
Notice that the effect has been applied to both images and the title text.
As usual, you are provided with a number of properties that let you control the look of the effect, along with some presets for ease-of-use.
This slide can be enhanced just a bit more by applying the Blur effect to the images and the Gaussian Blur effect to the text.
The Reflection effect provides another great way to enhance the look of your slides!

Comments:
This looks like a kewl new effect. I hope to put it in production soon.
Can you provide an option for negative verticle separation? I would like to add a reflection to the Footer, but it falls off the screen instead of reflecting upward.
This is a pretty nice little option.
