I would be nice if they could run some kind of hiss filter to get your breathing off of the recording.

But it was nice to hear you all having a congenial conversation, even though sometimes those of us in the trenches have to mix it up a bit. ;)

I do apologize for the poor sound quality, it is not the norm for a FaithTools episode. I believe that with 8 participants on the Skype call, we were max'ing out the available bandwidth. At one point, I stopped the conversation, disconnected/reconnected with Doug hoping to improve the quality. It worked, but the sound quality started to go downhill again after a short period of time. I was tempted to disconnect/reconnect, but the conversation was going really well and I did not want to impede the flow. Because it seems that Doug was affected the most (Rick's and Josh's quality was up & down, too), it makes me wonder if Doug;s ISP is into"packet shaping" it's netwwork traffic...

It was a pleasure to have him on as a guest. Hopefully, Doug will join us again in a future episode and all will go well with less panelists on the line.
