Version 8.3 > 8.2 warning not going away

We've installed 8.3 on the main projection computer and my laptop. Everything was fine, so we uninstalled 8.2

However, we still get the warning, when starting up 78.3, that it sees an older version installed on both machines.

Are we missing something?

To remove this message you need to explicitly tell SSP that you are moving on.

From the "Older Version Detected" message, click on the More Info link.  This will give you a dialog asking if the files are being used by another version.  Click "No" and it will update the version file.

Interesting. I would have assumed that uninstalling the older version would have indicated to the newer version that we had moved on. The older version should no longer be detected.

Maybe the message should read, "At one point, we detected an older version.." 8-D

I am still getting that warning after selecting the no option from the More info link. We have our primary machine and it synchronizes to a network drive where our secondary machine runs its "data" files from. On both machines the message keeps showing up. It's just annoying seeing the message, it doesn't affect anything
