Version 7 > Use of Smart Clock

(This was originally posted in "Tricks & Tips," but,
receiving no answer, I thought I would bring it up in this forum.)
OK, I've downloaded and know how to run Smart Clock, but could someone tell me how to superimpose the downcounter over a slide or video being displayed via SSP program on a 2nd monitor and projector? If this can be done, it could be a really cool way a doing count-downs. Thanks for the help.

You should be able to drag the clock over to the 2nd screen. To change it to a countdown, right click on the SmartClock icon in the right part of the task bar and you should be able to change the display to countdown.
Sorry, I can't be more specific w/o the software in front of me.

OK. I've got it in front of me. More Details.
With Smartclock running, you should have a little clock display in the right end of your task bar. Right Click that and select Preferences.
In the preferences, click on the + sitng in the tool bar and you will get a menu as to which type of display you would like to add. Select Countdown.
Double click on the countdown item and set the particulars for your countdown.
Click the check box in front of the countdown to turn it on.
Hold the shift key and put your mouse cursor over the countdown.
With the shift key still depressed, drag the countdown to where you want it displayed.
Hope this helps.

Your info. is very helpful. If we are running a ppt with separate program items is it possible to display the clock on the screen over top all of the slides?

My guess is yes, but you'd have to try it to be sure.
