That sounds great. Can it take effect on the fly, or is it one of those that requires a restart of SSP?

This feature does require a restart of SSP to take effect which is prompted with the change.

I thought probably. I can imagine live situations where I have it off and want it on and vice versa. But I can also imagine that it would be a realy pain, if at all possible, to be able to change that on the fly.
For me, the only reason I'd minimize the control panel, is to get to something on the desktop. And if that's the case, I open up another Exporer window with the desktop.
There are times, however, that I minimize the control panel, not thinking about the full effects.
So as long as I can pop other things over top of the display window, I'm guessing I'll turn it to "don't minimize" and leave it there.

Yep...
I have been testing a bunch with it enabled and it is pretty slick. If you like the behavior there is really no reason to switch back.
