It is possible that these files are either protected or in some other way incompatible.

Can you play other mp3 files?

Can you play any audio files?

The best bet would be to get these files to the support team so that we can test them out and see what the trouble is.

I can play these outside of SSP.
I can play other MP 3s in SSP.
These are worship pads I bought from Worship Tutorials.com.

I changed the audio setting to User codex and it worked.
Can I use the pads as background for song slides?

Thanks.

That is great that yo could make it work.  If the default playback components are not working then perhaps whatever you have installed that is playing them may have broken the default playback - it happens...

Regarding the "pads" you are referring to...  I am not familiar with those but they appear to just be tonal background audio.

There is no audio "Background" for songs.  If these are in conjunction with a background video that would not work because backgrounds have the audio muted.

That said, you can set an audio track to a song - so if that is how you would like to use them then, Yes, this could be your audio background.

How do I do that George?

Thanks.

If you want to add it to every time you use the song, right click on the song in the song database (left side), select edit song, in the edit window, go to the Audio Files tab and insert the track there.

If you only want it for the current program, add the song to the program, right click the song in the program (right side) and select Audio track and insert the track there.

I got the same error notices after installing version 8.2 TEST Release 5/27/2015. Thanks to this thread I changed the codecs to Supported Only and the mp3's started working!
