Middle click to cue an item. This is normally done by pushing down on the scroll wheel of the mouse.

I have run many Christmas/Easter cantatas with Performance cds with minor mishaps and most with No problems at all. I have also ripped to a laptop and run it that way and have had problems with that also. One of the problems ripping is the multiple tracks per song for the choir to practice with. Either way you do it you need someone who is competent and paying attention.

Get a free program like audacity or pay for a program like sound forge and you can take those tracks and merge them. So if you 6 tracks for one song, you now have one track per song. I did that for years for cantatas, works like a charm.
