Version 8.4 > Delete or change "Display Properties" from list
11/18/2017 12:52:44 PM
For several iterations of the program (maybe since vs. 7) when right-clicking
to change properties, the item "display properties" is at the bottom of the list.
It hasn't been active for a long time and "slide properties" at the top of the
list is what needs to be selected. For new users, this is confusing when they must
select "slide properties" (but not "display properties") to change "display properties."
Isn't is about time to remove one of the items from the list? Certainly this can be
accomplished in least than 15 minutes.

Hey Dick.
I am not able to find this behavior that you are referring to....
Is this for objects in a program? Objects in a slideshow?
Please elaborate steps to replicate this....
Thanks.

In a program, insert "Slide Properties for Songs (or Scripture, etc.)."
Edit as desired, save, and then go to that item and right click. "Slide Properties"
is at the top of the list, and "Display Properties" at the bottom. At one
time, quite a while ago, you indicated that "Display Properties" was,
inadvertently, left over from previous versions and would be removed.
This is a reminder

Oh - OK - I see now...
I was looking at media objects (image/video etc.) and did not see this.
In fact, it appears to be only occurring on the inserted Slide Properties - is that what you are seeing?

Seems to be -- but I haven't checked very far.
