Various Windows - Timer Properties

Load Properties From

Use this to load properties from pre-made timers.

 

Timer Type

Countdown

 Counts down starting from a specified amount of time, such as 5 minutes. This is the typical timer type.

Start Time

Use this control to enter the start time of a Countdown timer.

Countdown To

Counts down to a specific interval of time. You can specify the next quarter hour, next half hour, or next hour. This lets you use a timer that will always countdown to a common start time regardless of when the timer is actually started.

When this option is selected, another control is visible letting you specify the time interval to count down to. The options are:

Next Quarter Hour

Next Half Hour

Next Hour

Count Up

Counts up to a specified amount of time.

Stop Time

Use this control to enter the stop time of a Count Up timer.

Time of Day

Presents the current time of day

12-hour

Check this control to use a 12-hour clock.

Show AM/PM

Check this control to show AM/PM with the time.

 

Show

Specify what elements of the time to show.

Hours

Minutes

Seconds

Deciseconds

 

Upper Text

Optional text that will be placed above the timer.

 

Lower Text

Optional text that will be placed below the timer.

 

Font

Font selection for timer and text.

 

Color

Color of the timer and text.

 

Two-color

Check this control to use a gradient color.

 

Gradient Color

If Two-color is checked, this represents the second color used in the gradient. The gradient direction is top to bottom.

 

Shadow

Shadow style for the timer.

None

Drop

Block

Blur

Blur amount of applied to the shadow

 

Timer Size

Size of the timer as a percentage of the height of the display area.

Center Timer

Check this control to center the timer in the display area

 

Text Size

Size of the upper and lower text as a percentage of the height of the display area.

 

Name*

File name of the timer (without extension).

*This control is not available when an existing timer is being edited. To rename a timer, rename the file itself from within the media panel.

Suggest Name

Click this button to get a suggested name for the timer based on its properties.
