You can set a slide show to automatically advance, and there are a number of options for this as described below. The steps described below are used when editing a slide show from within Slide Builder.
Specify a single slide duration to be used by each slide:
2. | In Advance the slide show, select Automatically. |
3. | In Slide presentation time, select Identical. |
4. | In Specify time for, select Each Slide. |
5. | In Presentation time for each slide, enter the duration, in seconds, to be used for each slide. |
6. | Click Save to save the changes. |
Specify the duration for the entire slide show:
2. | In Advance the slide show, select Automatically. |
3. | In Slide presentation time, select Identical. |
4. | In Specify time for, select Entire Slide Show. |
5. | In Length of the slide show, enter the duration, in seconds, to be used for the entire slide show. Each slide will be given the same amount of time which is the total slide show time you enter divided by the number of slides. |
6. | Click Save to save the changes. |
Match slide show duration to the length of its audio track:
2. | In Advance the slide show, select Automatically. |
3. | In Slide presentation time, select Identical. |
4. | In Specify time for, select Entire Slide Show. |
6. | Click Save to save the changes. |
Specify different slide durations for each slide (and default duration for new slides):
2. | In Advance the slide show, select Automatically. |
3. | In The default presentation time for each slide, enter the default slide duration you wish to use for each slide. This value will be used each time a new slide is created. It does not affect existing slides. |
4. | Click Save to save the changes. |
5. | To change the duration for a slide, first select the slide, then enter the slide time in the timing box found in the top toolbar at the far right. (Or select the menu command Slide > Time, which will take you directly to the timing control. |
