Display Lyrics

Verse-by-Verse

This option presents the entire contents of each verse and chorus in a single step on a slide.

Page-by-Page

This option splits the song lyrics into separate text objects based on page breaks within the song text. Note that page breaks are not automatically included with any song text. They must be added by you by editing the song text.

Sentence-by-Sentence

This option splits the song lyrics into separate text objects based on sentence breaks within the song text. Sentence breaks are determine by the presence of a period or semicolon at the end of a line. Periods and semicolons that occur in the middle of a line are not used to separate text objects.

Line-by-Line

This option splits the song lyrics into separate text objects based on line breaks within the song text.

By maximum lines per slide

This option splits the song lyrics into separate text objects if the total number of lines in song text exceed the amount specified in Maximum Lines.

 

Maximum Lines

This setting is used if Display Lyrics is set to By maximum lines per slide. This specifies the maximum number of lines to be presented on a slide at a time. Note that this setting only looks for line breaks within the song text and assumes that the Word wrap setting in Spacing is unchecked. If word wrap is enabled, you may see what appears to be more lines shown than what you specified in Maximum Lines. This is because some of the single lines from the song text were wrapped onto two or more display lines.

 

Include CCLI License Number

When checked, your CCLI® license number will be included along with the copyright text. You'll need to ensure that the Copyright text is set to be visible. You'll also need ensure that you have entered your CCLI license number on this system. Note that this number is not the CCLI song number of the presented song.

 

Split Line

When checked, the CCLI license number will be placed on the line below the copyright information. Otherwise, the copyright information along with the CCLI license number will be placed on the same line.

 

Include Song Number

When checked, the contents Song Number field is included in the Reference text. You'll need to ensure that the Reference text is set to be visible. The Song Number field is typically not entered for songs. It is something that you'll need to add by editing the song. The intent of the Song Number field is to show the congregation the location of the song within a hymnal or song book.

 

Include title, author, copyright, and reference on

All lyrics slides

With this option, the song information is placed on each slide of a song.

First lyrics slide only

With this option, the song information is placed on the first slide only

Last lyrics slide only

With this option, the song information is placed on the last slide only

Title slide only

With this option, the song information is placed only on the title slide

 

Have lyrics fill the slide on lyrics-only slides

When checked, the position of lyrics text objects will occupy the entire slide regardless of the Position settings for Lyrics. This is useful if you show the title information only on the first slide of a song and want the remaining slides to make use of the entire slide.
