Stage Display - Display Device
This feature lets you provide a stage display for use by the worship team through a video signal sent to screen on the platform or at the back of the congregation. The slides contain high contrast text, typically white on black or black on white. By removing the background, it is easier to read than the slides that are typically presented to the congregation.
To configure the Stage Display using a display device*:
| 1. | Select the menu command Settings > Display. This will open the Display Settings window. |
| 2. | Set Number of Displays to 2. |
| 3. | Select the Display Window 2 tab. |
| 4. | Set Display Device to the device that you will use for the stage display output. |
| 5. | Click OK to save the changes. |
| 6. | If you actually changed the number displays you are using (like from 1 to 2), then you'll need to restart SongShow Plus at this point for the change to be in effect. |
| 7. | Select the menu command Settings > Display. This will open the Preferences window. |
| 8. | Select the Stage Display setting panel. |
| 9. | Ensure that Stage Output Active is checked. |
| 10. | Ensure that Source Display is set to Display 1. |
| 11. | Ensure that Target Display is set to Display 2. |
| 12. | Make any other changes you wish at this point such as background color, foreground color, layout, etc. |
| 13. | Click Save to save the changes. The next time you present a media item, the stage display will present the stage version of the media. |
Note:
This capability is available as part of the Professional feature set or with the Stage Display feature licensed.
*These instructions assume you are using Display Window 1 as your primary projection window and that it is the source media, and that you are using Display Window 2 for the stage output. If you have the Sage Display feature licensed along with the Multiple Display Window feature licensed, you can then specify any of the four display windows to be used as the source and target for the stage display feature.
Stage Display - Mobile App
This feature lets you provide a stage display for use by the worship team through mobile devices that can be placed nearby the team on the platform. The content shown on the devices are high contrast text, typically white on black or black on white.
To configure the Stage Display using a display device:
| 3. | Ensure that the SongShow Plus machine is running. |
| 4. | Start the Stage Display app. After starting it will present a list of the local SongShow Plus machines it found. Select the machine. |
| 5. | Your device is now connected and will present the stage optimized output of content sent to Display 1. |
Note: This feature only works with content sent to Display 1.
