How do I add an available bible scripture translation to SongShow Plus?

This article applies to all versions of SongShow Plus.

One of the features of SongShow Plus is the ability to add scripture text to programs and slide shows within SongShow Plus. There are a few free bible scripture translations included and available after the initial installation of SongShow Plus. Additional bible scripture translations can be added by purchasing a license add-on for a specific machine and updating the machine license.

NOTE : The processes shown below work best with SSP version 9.x or later.   If you are using an older version, we recommend updating to the latest version of SongShow Plus for the best results.  If you are not able to do so, additional support may be needed to gain access to a purchased bible

Users can add additional bible licenses themselves by following the steps below:

From the SongShow Plus website:

  • Log into the SongShow Plus website using the organization credentials.
  • Once logged in select the Store page and then click on the Renew Subscription or Add Bible link.
  • Follow the prompts to select the relevant Bibles and Machines.
  • Confirm that the Item and Amounts are correct and click the Confirm button.
  • Enter the appropriate credit card information for payment and click the Confirm button.  Storing the information is optional.
  • Once payment is complete the user should get an email receipt automatically.
  • The user can also confirm the added bible by selecting the Account page and locating the machine under the Desktop Products section.  Use the Show Details buttons in the license section to confirm what is applied.  NOTE: it may be necessary to refresh the account page by logging out and back in if the changes do not show up right away.
  • Once the purchase is complete, the user can simply launch SongShow Plus on the machine(s) the bible was added to.  In SSP versions 9.x and later, it will automatically detect the update.  If you are using an older version, we recommend updating to the latest version of SongShow Plus for the best results.
