Blank Slide button does not always use the selected transition

Applicable SongShow Plus Versions:
This article applies to all versions of SongShow Plus.

Symptom:
When trying to use the Blank Slide button with a Fade Transition selected, the transition does not always display.

Possible Cause:
The root cause is not known at this time.

Possible Solution:
There are two possible work-arounds to this behavior:

• When using the Blank Slide button, only set to None so at least the behavior is consistent.
• If a fade (or other transition) is desired for a Blank Slide, add a Blank Slide as a Program object.  This method does work reliably and is far more versatile.  With the full complement of Slide Properties available, this can be set to any duration Fade or other desired transition.
