Blank Slide button OR Blank Slide object does not always use the selected transition

Symptom:
When trying to use the Blank Slide button OR a program Blank Slide object with a Fade Transition selected, the transition does not always display OR may take longer than expected.

Possible Cause:
The root cause is not known at this time.

Possible Solution:
There are three possible work-arounds to this behavior:

• When using the Blank Slide button, only set to None so at least the behavior is consistent.
• If a fade (or other transition) is desired for a Blank Slide, add a Blank Slide as a Program object.  This method does work reliably and is far more versatile.  With the full complement of Slide Properties available, this can be set to any duration Fade or other desired transition.
• Create a special slide show that is just a blank slide with the correct transition.  This may be more consistent.
