Corrupted Display Properties file error

Symptoms:
Alert message indicating the "The Display Properties file is corrupted. Some settings may have been lost." It is also possible that Global Display Properties will not stay set or error when saved.
Possible Cause:
This may be related to the Current Display settings not being accessible or saving and is most likely a file permissions issue. This typically occurs when a user is added after the initial installation of SSP but can occur in other cases as well. This also may occur after updating from a much older version of SSP.
Possible Solution:
Verify that all users have full permissions to the required folders using the Folder Security Settings in the Utilities panel. Specific instructions for this can be found in KB SI007.
