Error occurs when running system updates through SSP web panels

Symptom:
Errors occur when running or attempting to run system updates through the SSP panels.  This may occur for a flash or java update when visiting a particular website in the Web page panel or the CCLI site through the Lyrics Import tool.

Possible Cause:
The pop ups and/or installation of system updates or plug-ins can cause secure desktop to be invoked or other windows outside of SSP that may be hidden causing issues.

Possible Solution:
Perform all system updates outside of SSP.
