SSL/TSL version changes affects several parts of SongShow Plus

Applicable SongShow Plus Versions: 
This article applies to SongShow Plus Version 8.4 and earlier.

A change to the security protocols required and update to TLS 1.2 and this change caused some issues with several aspects of SongShow Plus, most notably the activation process.  Some online services were also affected within SongShow Plus as well due to similar updates by a variety of 3rd party companies.

For the SongShow Plus online activation process to work as expected, users must install SongShow Plus Version 8.4 dated 06/04/2018 or later.  This can be downloaded via the updater or the SongShow Plus website.  Manual activation can be completed by contacting the support team however the update is highly recommended.  At this time there are no plans to update any previous builds of SongShow Plus.
